Based on Alchemy, using the principles of the Magnum Opus:

These stages are not process that matter undergoes into the creation of the Philosopher Stone, but rather the organic matter created by ecosystems, seen in GEO trough the evolution of Mother Nature into animal beings.

Natural closed ecosystems have a theory of mind, where animism behaves as the quality that gains Consciousness for that entity [1]. The consciousness is defined by its capability of exerting Rhythm, and therefore consist of the generation of Nigredo, Albedo and Rubedo as the BQ of this object. The production of organic matter [2] and its evolution trough the Magnum Opus phases happens spontaneously and represents, depending on the magnitude of the entity (e.g., a tree, or a forest) the modification of the carboneous chain structure of the bio molecule, causing greater entities to have a more fragmented Magnum Opus, and therefore being hidden from direct observation.

Process

The process of Magnum Opus then does not necessarily represent the achieving of the Philosopher stone, but the mastering of the phases to simulate Mother's Nature behavior. The material darkening of Nigredo represents the law, and the formation up to the 3rd (Library) rhythmic value, representing pre-modalities, hence, the non-physical.

Carl Jung compared the 'black work' of the alchemists (the nigredo) with the often highly critical involvement experienced by the ego, until it accepts the new equilibrium brought about by the creation of the self. -- Carl Jung

Then Albedo is the Physicalization process, and its interdependence with the environment, where more complex roles begin on existing to nurture the ecosystem, and perhaps the hardest to achieve. This process represents up to the 7th rhythmic value and responsible of attributing senses to matter, like the smell in essential oils, based on sought qualities for each individual species. At last, Rubedo is the simplest, representing blood, or sacrifice. It describes the process of collecting the animism stored in an ecosystem towards its conscious objective, and similarly, for objects like the Philosopher Stone, arguably it represents the Alchemical powers of transforming non precious metals in Gold.

Notes and References

  1. Thus, why polytheistic religions are somewhat correct in considering all entities have a consciousness, as the same matter by which Greeks protected their gods, and we protect our government domination mechanism, as there must be superior and inferior objects of appreciation related to Albedo, Nigredo and Rubedo phases.
  2. Notably qualities like Terpene are arguably resultant from Alchetypical work.
